Ridouts was launched in January 2007. Our founder Paul Ridout is one of the UK’s most respected Health and Social Care lawyers, having spent a decade spearheading DLA Piper's Healthcare Practice.

His 35 year career has seen him involved in major groundbreaking issues in the regulation of Health and Social Care and he has represented the majority of leading care home operators, as well as hundreds of smaller operations. Allied to Paul’s own considerable experience and reputation as a robust and formidable defender and protector of care providers, the practice offers tangible immediate value to clients with levels of transparency uncommon in the field.

Ridouts operates on a cheaper cost base and with less of the associated bureaucracy than its larger and less progressive competitors. This means that we're able to respond swiftly and effectively in the event of crisis management, whilst offering a uniquely personable service.
