Errol is an experienced regulatory and public law solicitor with commercial law experience and advises health and social care providers on regulatory and compliance matters.
He joined Ridouts from Monitor, the health sector regulator, where he was an in-house legal adviser. After qualifying with a leading City firm in November 1996, he led a specialist team of lawyers in private practice in the healthcare sector for ten years. He went on to work in central government and national regulators and so brings valuable insights into compliance and effective engagement with regulators.
In addition to advising private sector providers he has broad and in-depth experience of advising public sector organisations.
A keen advocate, Errol has represented clients at hundreds of hearings at courts and tribunals and enjoys delivering training sessions to clients which he has done for many years in both the private and public sectors.
Out of work, Errol enjoys all kinds of sports, especially the Saturday morning Park Run with his children. He also acts as a voluntary Mental Health Act Hospital Manager, hearing appeals by patients against detention under the Mental Health Act.
