Joanna is a dual qualified solicitor in New Zealand and England and Wales.  Prior to joining Ridouts Joanna advised primarily on commercial litigation and contentious tax matters.  Since joining the firm in 2010, Joanna's focus has been on acting in fee disputes against local authorities, contesting Care Quality Commission compliance review reports and challenging notices of proposal to cancel registrations.  Joanna also has experience in advising on competition law matters and has a keen interest in procurement issues in the NHS.  In her spare time she enjoys travelling, skiing and spending time in the outdoors.
