Nicola joined Ridouts in November 2022 as a Solicitor. Prior to joining, Nicola worked extensively within the field of Professional Discipline and conducted Fitness to Practise investigations on behalf of the General Dental Council, Health & Care Professions Council, General Pharmaceutical Council, British Psychoanalytic Council, Teaching Agency and Bar Standards Board.
Nicola has also defended Optometrists, Optical businesses, and student Optometrists before the General Optical Council and has assisted clients with NHS Performance Advisory Group (‘PAG’) and Performers Lists Decision Panels (‘PLDP’) matters. Nicola also has experience of professional body investigations, assisting clients respond to patient complaints, and University Fitness to Practise Hearings.
Nicolas has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Law and is a member of the Association of Regulatory and Disciplinary Lawyers.
In her spare time, Nicola enjoys travelling, watching live sport, and swimming.
