Philippa Willamson

Philippa offers consultancy services assisting providers to achieve compliance and increase occupancy levels. Philippa is able to undertake quality audits in line with the CQC standards and create action plans to guide and support providers towards compliance. She can also assist with management, recruitment and staff development.

Philippa provides support and guidance with management and regulatory issues through a “hands on approach”. She has a proven track record of assisting with the “turn around” of homes with compliance and enforcement issues. Philippa is flexible in her approach to meet the needs of providers and has a support team who enable her to adopt an extremely responsive approach. Philippa has experience in the elderly, younger adult, mental health and learning disability sectors

Philippa trained as a nurse in Sheffield, registered in 1981 and held the roles of Ward Sister, Practice Development Adviser and Associate Clinical Director before moving into the private sector.

After leaving her role as a senior manager in the NHS she held the roles of Registered Manager and Regional Manager in the private sector prior to becoming the Operations Director of a health care consultancy company. She now runs a successful consultancy company and has worked directly for CCGs, local authorities and independent providers since 2008. Philippa is also a non-executive director of an independent health care company.

Philippa has a strong belief that where quality care is delivered improved regulatory and performance increases.
