Samantha joined Ridouts as a Regulatory Lawyer in April 2022 after relocating to London from New Zealand. She is a registered foreign lawyer, who is an enrolled Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand and Australia.
Samantha previously practised as a criminal lawyer. This previous experience saw her provide advice on a high volume and variety of criminal charges. She frequently presented these matters in both the New Zealand District and High Court; including contested hearings and appeals. She is invested in protecting people’s interests and is able to swiftly analyse and identify issues to provide meaningful advice to achieve a positive outcome. Samantha is a passionate advocate whose background leaves her well placed to provide advice and support to providers.
Outside of work, Samantha can be found planning her next overseas adventure or attending a stage show. She is an avid reader, loves eating out and socialising.
