Autumn Webinars

Ridouts will be hosting a series of webinars, which will cover various issues affecting the Adult Social Care sector. During these webinars you will have the opportunity to ask our lawyers for their guidance and advice in relation to each webinar topic. You can review the topics below and book on to any (or all) of these, using the booking form. We look forward to seeing you there.

Autumn Webinars Schedule 2020

10am-10.45am on Zoom

Ridouts will consider what the purpose of an inquest is and the ways in which providers might be involved in the inquest process and how to manage it. The webinar will also discuss the potential for civil or criminal claims against a provider as a result of information that emerges during an inquest and the consequences of a Regulation 28 Prevention of Future Deaths Report.

10am-10.45am on Zoom

For the final webinar of the series we invited you, as Providers, to tell us about the topics you would like our panel of experts to cover. Following your feedback, the last webinar of the Autumn series will be a one hour session during which our panel of lawyers will deliver presentations on three of the topics you suggested. There will also be opportunities for Q & A with the panel.

The topics to be covered are:

  • CQC update, including what we have learned about the Transitional Monitoring Approach so far
  • Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the Liberty Protection Safeguards
  • Lessons learned from COVID-19 and the way forward

Please book your place on any of our webinars using the form below.

Please use this form if you would like to submit a suggestion for our webinar discussion on 10th December.

I got through to Paul immediately and he told me what to do there and then; I didn’t realise how limited the Local Authority’s powers were.
They are saviours! They rescued my business – they are worth every penny!
You feel that you get both legal advice and consultancy, borne out of many years of dealing with regulators
Caroline came back to me immediately with a high quality, considered response.
I was immediately impressed with Jenny’s knowledge in legal matters and how care homes work at a business level.
I went to their symposium – it was a big investment of time – but it was wonderful – I learnt a lot and like the way they spoke – easy to understand, clear, friendly – I would definitely use them if I needed to – and would absolutely recommend them.
I know for a fact that the CQC fear Ridouts – they know you are taking it seriously if you work with Ridouts.
Knowing they only work for care providers adds trust in them
