Update on the Liberty Protection Safeguards

As of the 24 April, The Mental Capacity (Amendment) Bill finished its Parliamentary journey in the House of Lords and is now awaiting Royal Assent. The intention is still for it to come into force in spring 2020. As most people will be aware, this will remove the DoLs regime and replace it with the Liberty Protection Safegards (LPS).
